Alexandra is known as being soulful and passionate, and one of her biggest passions is teaching. She began her yogic journey in 2005 in Ashtanga under the teaching of Indu Bala Bhardwaj in Cincinnati, and has attended multiple workshops since. Alexandra is a 200 hour RYT and registered through Yoga Alliance. Due to the blend of her training as a dancer for most of her life, cultivating a personal and ever-deepening spirituality, and her love for all things natural, yoga instantly connected with her and made a lasting impact. Alexandra’s athletic teaching history includes managing and teaching fitness classes, stroke development for swimmers, training women in endurance and technique for the swimming portion of triathlons, and has taught yoga at multiple studios and gyms in town. Off the mat, Alexandra is a full-time mom and wife, and serves in her husband’s ministry in downtown Lafayette.
Alexandra loves to challenge and inspire her students, and her favorite type of yoga practice is hot vinyasa and Ashtanga.
