Led by Certified Yoga Therapist Jacqueline Allen-Magers, this retreat offers a blend of yoga, guided hikes, meditation, and sound healing to support your well-being while exploring one of the most awe-inspiring places on Earth.

We all know yoga and some time in nature can help us feel better, be more productive, and more peaceful, but sometimes it is just hard to fit it in. What could be better for your mind, body and spirit, than giving yourself the gift of time in nature, deepening your yoga practice?

- June Bug Cafe Meal Plan ($65/day for breakfast, trail lunch, & dinner; gratuity included)
- 4 nights at the Yosemite Bug (rooms reserved for the retreat; est. $1,040 for a solo room or $520 for 2 guests per private room, but other housing options can be used)
Yosemite National Park, California
Airfare can be purchased to arrive at the Fresno airport early in the afternoon on 7/10/25 and returning on 7/14/25. Group transportation to and from the airport in Fresno is included in the registration fee and will be coordinated as a group. More information about transportation will be organized as the retreat approaches.

Daily all-level yoga classes will be taught by Jacqueline Allen-Magers. The practices will be designed to match the energy and time of day while giving you intensity options to match your energy.
Classes will include meditation and breath awareness as well as the physical asana practice.
Friday Guided Excursion: Yosemite Valley
We will explore the iconic sights of Yosemite Valley as we walk on established pathways and trail systems along the valley floor. This will be very easy-going hiking (about 3-4 miles), no elevation gain. Your Balanced Rock guides will be able to share stories and facts about the flora and fauna of Yosemite, along with its indigenous, cultural, and geologic history. There will be opportunities for pictures and purchasing souvenirs! Letting the landscape be our guide, we will have spaciousness for a spontaneous river swim, nature yoga session, or meditative circle beneath the towering pines. We will enjoy our packed trail lunches along the way.
Saturday Guided Excursion: Yuolumne Meadows
On our second full day, we will spend a full day diving deeper into Yosemite’s majestic high country landscape. Our drive up to Tuolumne Meadows will be a multi-stop venture, with opportunities to wander through a Sequoia grove, snap a few photos at Olmsted Point, take a dip in Tenaya Lake, or enjoy a gentle hike around Tuolumne Meadows and Soda Springs. We will enjoy our packed trail lunches along the way, taking in the breathtaking scenery of the high Sierra with its alpine lakes and jagged peaks.
Sunday Guided Excursion: Glacier Point
On our final day together, we will head to the southern rim of Yosemite Valley for a beautiful loop hike through Sentinel Dome and Taft Point, concluding a Glacier Point to admire the views of Yosemite Valley from above. There will be time for group photos, trail lunches, and a nature yoga practice or meditative moment atop the granite dome.
In the evenings, you will have free time to relax, add spa services, or take a walk.
