Exercise of the Dueling Minds

Let’s do another exercise.

This is to free yourself from the negative clutter that has been going on in your mind and enclosing it to where it can no longer affect you.

Ready? Let’s do it.

First, reach your arms to the skies above and feel the weight of your body move towards the palm of your hands. Extend your arms upward as if pushing your soul from the body. Then, transfer your energy in between your hands and create a huge ball of unseen mass. Put your fears and doubts and anxieties inside that circular force. Next, trap them and leave no holes unsealed. Focus your energy on sealing that ball and trapping unwanted energy inside.

Finally, take a deep breath and concentrate.

As you exhale, flush down all the worries and stresses that have been infesting you for days.

Declutter your mind.

Let loose of the chains that have been holding you back to feel alive.

At times of unrest, you must do all that you can do to keep your soul alive. These are crucial times and we must stay awake to survive. Eradicate all forms of negativity and close them off to where it could no longer thrive.

Then, let go of the ball.

Let it evaporate and dissolve in thin air.

Free yourself as you take another breath back into the present.

What has that exercise taught you?

Simply to create an outlet where you can channel your inner fears/frustrations/doubts/negativity and collapse them into a single, dissolvable matter.

In this exercise, we used our creative minds (by means of imagination) to counter our busy, constantly buzzing minds.

The chaos inside can also triumph from the inside.

Pause. Breathe. Reflect.

Be the calm inside the storm.
